Últimamente había estado pensando en una sección nueva de "shopping" donde hablar de las cosas nuevas que llegan a las tiendas y de marcas con ondita goth. También luego me enteré de la existencia de Delikate Rayne.  Sí, pronúncielo usted como "delicate rain". Así que me pareció bien comenzar con esta marca de ropa de mujer con una idea diferente de cómo se trata una prenda. Tomo como ejemplo mi prenda favorita de la colección: el tank top "úselo-como-sea" (como yo lo llamo). Éste top maravilloso se puede usar de todas las maneras que se te ocurran porque es simétrico desde diferentes ángulos y además tiene (como varias prendas de la colección) un gráfico que puede leerse también de cabeza mostrando dos palabras diferentes. Ésta marca es visualmente interesante y es un poco triste que no se puedan comprar sus prendas en línea, PERO las hermanas fundadoras de la marca, Komie y Meg, están ya trabajando en eso, así que pronto podremos tener una de estas prendas raras-chidas-retorcidas. Y mientras esperamos, les dejo la frase que define el estilo de la marca:

"El estilo no se viste, se personifica. una prenda sólo es de moda cuando la chica correcta la hace propia. La única mujer que puedes ser, es tú misma."

Lately I've run into the idea of a new "shopping" section, and there post new stuff hitting the stores and brands with the goth feel. And then I run into Delikate Rayne. Yes it sounds like delicate rain. This is a womenswear brand full of a different idea of treating a garment. I take the example of my favorite piece of this brand: the "it-can-be-worn-as-you-like-it" tank top (as I call it). This marvelous top can be worn in different ways since it's symmetrical from different angles and in has (as many tops in this collection) a graphic that can be read upside-down. This brand is visually interesting and is kind of sad that there's not an online store BUT this sisters (Komie and Meg) are working in that, so we all will be able to own one of their strange-cool-wicked garments one of this days. And as you wait just take a look to a phrase in the website:

"Style isn't worn, it is embodied. A garment is only fashion forward when the right girl makes it her own. The only woman you can be is yourself."

Cualquier look se vuelve más rudo con las medias adecuadas: estampadas, de encaje o red le dan un plus a cualquier par de shorts. Los botones dorados y las anclas son detalles que dan el estilo marinero a cualquier prenda.

Look of the day #10

Buscando una imagen en lookbook.nu de una camiseta transaparente me topé con éste chico con toda la actitud de goth con estilo (algo muy difícil de lograr, pero que él parece lograrlo sin esfuerzo). Nada pelo muy oscuro ni ultra claro, nada de gestos raros ni adornos fuera de lugar; simplemente las prendas correctas usadas del modo correcto.

Looking for a photo of a transparent tee in lookbook.nu I ran into this boy with all the stylish goth attitude (very hard to achieve, but he seems to do it effortless). No very dark hair nor ultra bleached, no weird faces or out of place frills; only the right clothes worn in the right way.
